Ferolyn Powell

Who is Ferolyn Powell?

Ferolyn is an executive with over 20 years

experience in the medical device industry. She is currently President,

CEO and Director of Evalve. Prior to joining Evalve in 1999, Ms. Powell

held various positions at General Surgical Innovations (acquired by

Tyco) including VP of Operations, with responsibility for Quality and

Regulatory Affairs. Previously, she served as Director of RD at

Adjacent Surgical (acquired by GSI) and at Guidant Corporation in the

atherectomy catheter division Devices for Vascular Interventions. Prior

to DVI, Ms. Powell held various technical management positions at

Frantz Medical Development and Life Systems. She holds a M.S.E. degree

in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Akron and a B.S.

degree in Chemical Engineering from Cleveland State University.
