Who is Florence Kiplagat?

Florence Jebet Kiplagat is a Kenyan long-distance runner. She is a two-time world champion, having won at the 2009 IAAF World Cross Country Championships and the 2010 IAAF World Half Marathon Championships.

She has also represented Kenya on the track, having won the silver medal over 5000 m at the 2006 World Junior Championships in Athletics. She competed in the 10,000 m at the 2009 World Championships in Athletics and is the current Kenyan record holder in the event with her best of 30:11.53 minutes.
