Who is Florian Lahnstein?
Florian Lahnstein was born in Düsseldorf, he is CEO and Founding Partner of RiverRock European Capital Partners LLP, a merchant bank which he co-founded with Prof. Roland Berger. Michel Peretie, former CEO of Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Bank is the firms third partner.
The firm has several funds in the alternative assets space. It has also a broker dealer called RiverRock Securities, with its own Capital Markets, Corporate Finance and Distribution arm.
Before RiverRock, between 1998 and 2008, Lahnstein was an investment banker at Merrill Lynch - Head German TMT, UBS - Head Germany Investment Banking, and Bear Stearns - Head European Investment Banking. Prior to that he worked at Bertelsmann AG.
