Who is Frank Leech?

Frank Leech was a prominent Anarchist in Glasgow, Scotland.

Leech, a Scotsman of Irish descent. In 1916 he had joined the Navy during World War One where he became service heavyweight champion, he would later work in mines and as a newsagent, he would run several papers, among them Fighting Call, later incorporating another paper, Freedom.

He also ran a radical bookshop, Bakunin Press Bookshop, on Buchanan Street, Glasgow, named after anarchist Mikhail Bakunin. The shop was associated with the Anti-Parliamentary Communist Federation.
