Who is Frank V. Azzolino?
Along with a proven track
record of successfully bringing companies to market, Frank brings over
two decades of experience in lifecycle management software and
mechanical CAD to his role. Most recently, Frank was CEO of Eigner
where he achieved profitability, established the company's US presence,
and engineered the acquisition by Agile in 2003. Eigner, originally
founded in Germany in 1985, developed, sold and serviced enterprise
Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software to discrete manufacturing
companies in the automotive, aerospace and defense, high tech, medical
products and industrial machinery sectors. Prior to Eigner, Frank was
CEO of NetSuite, a Fidelity-funded network design and discovery
software company, which he sold in January 2000. Frank spent nearly 10
years at Parametric Technology Corporation (PTC), the leading provider
of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software solutions to more than
38,000 companies worldwide. At PTC, Frank held several executive-level
marketing and sales positions including VP of Sales of Eastern North
America. Frank's final role at PTC was Vice President Corporate
Development and General Manager of Acquired Technologies, where he was
responsible for mergers and acquisitions. As employee #27 at PTC, Frank
was instrumental in growing the business from pre-revenue to over $650
million. Frank holds an MBA from Babson College and a BS in Structural
Engineering from Tufts University.
