Who was Fred Gaby?

Frederick "Fred" Richard Gaby was an English athlete who competed for Great Britain in the 1924 Summer Olympics and in the 1928 Summer Olympics.

He was born in Marylebone and died in Storrington.

In 1924 he was eliminated in the semi-finals of the 110 metre hurdles event.

Four years later he finished sixth in the 110 metre hurdles competition.

At the 1930 Empire Games he won the bronze medal in the 120 yards hurdles contest.
