Who is Fred Hassan?

Fred Hassan, a native of Pakistan, was the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of pharmaceutical company Schering-Plough from 2003 until November 3, 2009 when the company completed its merger with Merck & Co. Hassan is currently the Chairman of the Board of Bausch & Lomb having been elected to that position in March 2010. On October 29, 2009 Time Warner announced that Hassan would join their Board of Directors.
