Who was Frederick Sanders?
Edward Sanders was a notable gold prospector in the Klondike Gold Rush. He was born in Groton, Connecticut, the son of a recently returned Civil War soldier who ran a local brewery.
Then he went to the Yukon, got trapped in a snowstorm and died.
