Who is Frederick Taylor?

Frederick Taylor is a British historian and author of such works as Dresden: Tuesday, 13 February 1945 about the bombing of Dresden in World War II.

He was educated at Aylesbury Grammar School and read History and Modern Languages at Oxford University. He did postgraduate work at Sussex University specializing in the rise of the extreme right in Germany in the early 20th century. He translated the Goebbels Diaries, 1939–41 into English and also wrote some novels set in Germany.
