Who was Fritz-Rudolf Schultz?
Fritz-Rudolf Schultz was a German politician and member of the FDP.
Schultz fought in World War II as a member of the Panzertruppe. He was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves which he received from Heinrich Himmler personally in Trossingen.
After the war he initially worked on his parents vineyard in Gau-Bischofsheim. He became a member of the German Bundestag and elected Ombudsman for the Military on 11 March 1970. He held this office until 19 March 1975.
