Who is Gareth Marriott?
Gareth John Marriott is a British slalom canoer who competed from the mid 1980 to the late 1990s. Competing in two Summer Olympics, he won a silver medal in the C-1 event at Barcelona in 1992.
Marriott also won three medals at the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships with a silver and two bronzes.
He won the overall World Cup title three times in the C-1 category.
