Who is Gary McCormack?
Gary McCormack is a Scottish actor. He is best known for portraying "Larry" in Paul McGuigan's 1998 film The Acid House, written by Irvine Welsh. McCormack won a 1999 International Fantasy Film Award for Best Actor for his role. In 2002 he played a member of "Bill The Butcher's" gang in Martin Scorsese's film, Gangs of New York. He is now working on his new film Valhallan shot in Glasgow. He also starred in River City as gangster, JP. He is a resident of Leith, Edinburgh.
Gary was previously bassist for Scottish punk band The Exploited between 1980 and 1983 and can be heard on their first two albums Punks Not Dead and Troops of Tomorrow. Prior to joining The Exploited, McCormack played bass in Josef K.
