Who is Gary Nord?

Gary Nord is an American football coach. He was most recently serving as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the Purdue Boilermakers college football team. He was named to the position on December 1, 2008, and was relieved of his duties following the 2012 season.

Nord spent four years as head coach for the UTEP Miners, compiling a 14-34 record, and a berth in the 2000 Humanitarian Bowl losing to the Boise State Broncos, before being dismissed after the 2003 season.

He has also served as an assistant coach at Louisville, Oklahoma, Pittsburgh and Florida Atlantic Owls.
