Who is Gaynor Cawley?
Gaynor Cawley is a former Democratic member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.
Gaynor was born and raised in Scranton PA. Gaynor played Minor League Baseball for Detroit. He was store manager at a Willworths Store in Wilkes-Barre. He is a 1960 graduate of St. Patrick's High School and attended University of Scranton.
He served the city of Scranton, Pennsylvania in various capacities; including Director of Public Works from 1978–1979, Deputy Mayor of Scranton from 1977 through 1980, and Director of Community Development in 1980. He was elected to represent the 113th legislative district in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1980. He retired prior to the 2006 election.
