Who is Gianni Silvestrini?
Gianni Silvestrini is an Italian researcher. From 1977 to 1996 he taught at the University of Palermo and at the National Research Council in the fields of solar technology and energy policy.
He had institutional experiences at a local level and at the Ministry of the Environment, where he was appointed as General Director from 2000 to 2002. Since 2003 he has been Director of the "Kyoto Club" and of the magazine "QualEnergia". As of 2008, he became the Advisor to the Minister of Economic Development and coordinates the postgraduate "Master Ridef – Energy for Kyoto" at the Politecnico di Milano.
