Who was Glen Selbo?
Glendon Laverne Selbo was the second overall pick of the 1947 BAA Draft, having been selected by the Toronto Huskies. He played Guard/Forward. Prior to the BAA/NBA he played at the University of Wisconsin. He also played for the Michigan Wolverines men's basketball team during the 1945-46 season and was the team's leading scorer with 213 points. He was selected as the most valuable player in the Big Nine Conference during the 1946-47 season.He played for the Fond du Lac Rockets during the 1949-50 season. He later worked as a math teacher and basketball coach with public schools in Littleton, Colorado. He died in May 1994 at Sun City West, Arizona, at age 69.
