Who is Glyndwr Jones?
Glyndwr Cennydd Jones is a Welsh politician.
He was the Plaid Cymru candidate for the Merthyr Tydfil and Rhymney constituency in the National Assembly for Wales general election 2007, receiving 2519 votes. He stood again in the 2010 Westminster General Election, receiving 1621 votes.
Glyndwr is the son of Gwynoro Jones, the former Welsh Labour and SDP politician, who was Labour Member of Parliament for Carmarthen from 1970 until October 1974.
Glyndwr was awarded Honorary Membership of Trinity College London in December 2010.
