Who was Gordon Christie?
Gordon Christie, MBE, JP, was a New Zealand politician of the Labour Party.
He represented the electorate of Napier in Parliament from 1966 to 1981, when he retired and was replaced by Geoff Braybrooke.
He was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire in the 1985 New Year Honours, for public and community service. He died on 13 June 2001.
