Who is Graham Reid?
Graham Reid is a former field hockey defender and midfielder from Australia, who was a member of the team that won the silver medal at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. Afterwards he played club hockey for the Dutch top team Amsterdam for two seasons returning in 1995 to play the Europa cup.
Reid played 130 internationals for Australia including two Olympic Games, one World Cup and nine Champions Trophys. He has also won the Olympians medal 3 times whilst playing for Victoria Park Xavier.
He was also an inaugural member of the Australian Institute of Sport hockey unit in Perth, Western Australia in 1984 and despite stints back in Queensland and Amsterdam has remained in Perth, where he lives with his wife and two children.
He is currently assistant coach of the Australian Mens Hockey Team.
