Gregory J. Read is an Australian filmmaker.

Read has written, directed, produced, and edited the critically acclaimed documentaries Spirits of the Carnival, Tides of Passage, and Photographers of Australia: Dupain, Sievers, Moore. Although Like Minds was Read's directorial feature film début, since the late '90s he has assisted in the production of several low-budget Australian features. These include director John Hewitt's Redball and Dark Love Story, the latter of which Gregory produced and is to be released in 2006."
