Gregory W. Neely

Who is Gregory W. Neely?

Gregory W. Neely serves as assistant controller since July 4, 2004 for Sysco Corporation. He began his SYSCO career in 1996 as a staff auditor in the operations review department at SYSCO's corporate headquarters in Houston, Texas. In 1997 he was promoted to assistant manager of operations review and the following year he transferred to Sysco Food Services of Chicago, Inc., as director of finance and chief financial officer. Mr. Neely progressed to vice president of finance and chief financial officer of the Chicago operation in 2000 and in 2002 he returned to the corporate office to serve as senior director of operations review. Mr. Neely was born in Ruislip, Middlesex, England and was raised in Waco, Texas, where he earned an associate of arts degree in business administration from McClennan Community College in 1981. In 1988 he was awarded a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington and in 1993 he earned his certified internal auditor (CIA) accreditation.
