Who was Gustáv Papp?
Gustáv Papp was a Slovak operatic tenor who had an active international career during the 1940s through the 1980s. He was notably a leading artist at the Slovak National Theatre in Bratislava from 1948 through 1987. He made a number of recordings made on the Supraphon label and also worked for many years as a medical doctor.
