Who is Helen Boaden?
Helen Boaden is the Director of BBC Radio, the service that provides national radio stations covering the majority of musical genres, as well as local radio stations covering local news, affairs and interests. She assumed this role in February 2013, following negative publicity about her role in the BBC's non-coverage of Jimmy Savile's history of sexually abusing children.
