Who is Louis Scott?

Henry Louis Scott was an American track and field athlete who competed in the 1912 Summer Olympics. He was born in Paterson, New Jersey. In 1912 he was part of the American team which won the gold medal in the 3000 metre team. He also competed in the final of the 5000 metre event but his place is unknown. In the 10000 metre competition he did not finish the final. At the same Olympics he finished 24th in the individual cross country race. As he was only one of two American finishers his team was unpaced in the team cross country event.
