Who is Howard Lloyd?

Howard Lloyd is a hip hop musician who has been active since the mid-1990s. He has alternatively used both Musa Allah and Musa the Penultimate for production work. His latest release "the quickie EP" was initially released independently on vinyl/cd via his self-owned "wretched of the earth" imprint and has recently been digitally re-released by RopeAdope digital records with four bonus cuts. The Quickie EP cracked the top 10 on college radio's vaunted CMJ charts and was given press coverage in XXL, Goods, and Vapors magazines as well as countless internet zines and blogs. He was featured on the OKAYPLAYER website in early 2007. He is also a member of the Sputnik Brown collective. Most recently he appeared as a producer on Homeboy Sandman's 'First of a Living Breed'. He produced the song appropriately titled 'Sputnik'.
