Who is Imants Bluzmanis?

Imants Bluzmanis is a Latvian pianist. He took his first piano lessons when he was six years old and studied under I. Strause, J. Maleckis, S. Osokins and V. Suchanov. He participated in several piano master classes under D. Bashkirov, O. Maisenbeg, S. Dorensky, V. Margulis, N. Kazimirova, I. Ossipova, M. Chochlow, H. Palsson, I. Lazko, J. Kalnciems and I. Ilja. 2006-2011 he is studied at the Academy of Performing Arts in Munich by Franz Massinger, a famous pupil of Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli. 2011-2012 he was following the postgraduate education by Gitti Pirner in Munich. He is a prizewinner of many piano competitions in Latvia and abroad. Imants Bluzmanis has given concerts in Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Russia, France, Cyprus, Czech Republic and Slovenia.
