Imran Ahsan Khan Nyazee is an Islamic legal scholar and translator. He was a teacher at International Islamic University Islamabad; contributed to the body of knowledge regarding Islamic law and contributed to the understanding of Islamic law in English readers. Nyazee's academic work was influenced by that of Sarakhsi, a twelfth century jurist; Joseph Schacht; and Taqi Usmani.
