Who is Jim Flanigan?

James Michael Flanigan, Jr. is a former American football defensive tackle that played in the National Football League from 1994–2003. Most of his success came when he was with the Chicago Bears from 1994–2000. He played college football at the University of Notre Dame. His father, Jim Flanigan, Sr., also played in the NFL for the Green Bay Packers. Flanigan also played for the Philadelphia Eagles, the Green Bay Packers and the San Francisco 49ers during his NFL career.

Jim has a lifelong love of reading. He has used his celebrity and success to create a literacy charity. The James Flanigan Foundation is non-profit organization that encourages literacy.
