James Maxwell is an American football linebacker who most recently played for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League. He was signed by the NFL New York Giants as an undrafted free agent in 2004. He played college football at Gardner-Webb.
Maxwell has also played for the San Francisco 49ers, Miami Dolphins, and Cincinnati Bengals.
