Jitendra Gupta

Who is Jitendra Gupta?

Jitendra has over 13 years of experience developing and managing

software products. He started his career as a software engineer in the

EDA industry where he worked for Xilinx and Viewlogic Systems(acquired

by Synopsys). In 2000, after his MBA, Jitendra joined Siebel systems as

a Product Manager for Siebel web platform - the platform used for all

Siebel applications. Jitendra left Siebel in April 2005, to join

InQuira, a search company, as Director of Product Management. At

InQuira, he managed the company's flagship search product. In his role,

Jitendra set the course of product development and participated in

closing a number of sizable deals. Jitendra obtained his MBA

from the University of Chicago in 2000 and his B.Tech in EE from IIT

Kanpur, India in 1993. At Chicago, he launched and marketed chibus.com, the on-line edition of university of Chicago GSB school paper. Jitendra has been writing his blog for over a year at the company blog and occasionally contributes to ReadWriteWeb blog.
