Who is Joe Izganics?

Joe Izganics is president of the Southern Division of The Home Depot. He is responsible for the sales and operations of more than 740 stores. Joe leads a team of approximately 110,000 associates in 18 U.S. states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and St. Thomas. Joe joined the Company in 1989 as an assistant manager in training. He has served as store manager, district manager and regional vice president. Joe also has served as senior vice president of Home Services and, most recently, as senior vice president of Pro Business and Tool Rental. Prior to joining The Home Depot, Joe helped develop and launch a garden center business.He also held management positions with Mr. Goodbuys Home Center. Joe is an active member of the community. He serves on the board of directors of Rebuilding Together, which revitalizes affordable housing for low-income homeowners. Joe is a member of the Latin American Association, which provides transitional services to the Latino community. He also has supported Miami Bridge, which serves at-risk youth in Miami, and The Storehouse in Chicago, which supports low-income housing.
