Who was John Webster?
John Clarence Webster, FRSC was a Canadian-born physician pioneering in Obstetrics and gynaecology who in retirement had a second career as an historian, specializing in the history of his native New Brunswick. He was born in Shediac, New Brunswick on 21 October 1862 and he died there at the age of 86 on 16 March 1950.
