Who is John Coghill?
John Bruce Coghill, Jr. is a Republican member of the Alaska Senate representing North Pole, Alaska. He was appointed to the Alaska Senate in 2009 and has been the Senate Majority Leader since January 2013.
Cohgill was first elected to the legislature as a state representative for district 32 in 1998. He served for 5 years in the United States Air Force and reached the rank of staff sergeant.
