Who was John Dodd?
John Dodd was an English Whig politician.
Dodd was educated at King's College, Cambridge. A close friend of Horace Walpole, he was Member of Parliament for Reading in Berkshire in 1741, and from 1755 to 1782. He lived at Swallowfield Park.
