John F. White, Jr. is a former Democratic member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. He later served as a member of the Philadelphia City Council representing the Ninth District. He was elected to the seat after incumbent Democratic Councilman Louis Johanson resigned after being sentenced to prison for his connection with the Abscam scandal.
