Who is John Hickey?
John Hickey is a politician in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. He represented the district of Lake Melville in the Newfoundland and Labrador House of Assembly from 2003 to 2011. He is a member of the Progressive Conservative Party and was the Minister of Labrador Affairs in the Cabinet of Kathy Dunderdale.
On June 22, 2011, Hickey confirmed that he would not seek re-election in the October 2011 provincial election.
Hickey is running for mayor of Happy Valley-Goose Bay in the Newfoundland and Labrador municipal elections, 2013.
