Who is Josiah Idowu-Fearon?
Josiah Idowu-Fearon is the Anglican Archbishop of the Province of Kaduna, Nigeria and Bishop of Kaduna diocese. He is married and has three children.
In his youth he trained for a short period as a soldier but hortly after entered priesthood. He trained as a priest and was ordained. He was appointed in 1971, being ordained as a bishop in 1990. He has an interest in Christian-Muslim relations, having a PhD in Islamic studies.
He is widely known in Nigeria for his work on Muslim-Christian relations as "Mr Dialogue".
He is co-founder of the Centre for the Study of Islam and Christianity at Kaduna.
