Who was Juan Alberto Schiaffino?
Juan Alberto "Pepe" Schiaffino Villano was an Italian-Uruguayan football player. He played inside forward, in particular with CA Peñarol and AC Milan, and won the 1950 FIFA World Cup with the Uruguayan national team. Schiaffino was renowned as proficient creator and assister, best known for his technique and vision.
He was ranked as the best Uruguayan footballer of all time by an IFFHS poll.
