Who was Julia Sinédia-Cazour?
Marie-Julia Sinédia-Cazour was the oldest African supercentenarian, oldest person from the French possession of Réunion and is the tenth-oldest French person on record. She married in 1915. At the time of her death she was France's second-oldest person and the eleventh-oldest person in the world. She was the oldest living citizen of a French possession from the death of fellow 113-year-old Luce Maced on February 25, 2000 until Sinédia-Cazour's death on October 6, 2005 at 6:15 AM, aged 113 years and 86 days.
