Who is Kalikesh Narayan Singh Deo?
Kalikesh Narayan Singh Deo is an Indian politician from Odisha and a leader of the Biju Janata Dal political party.
His father, Ananga Udaya Singh Deo, and his great-grandfather, Rajendra Narayan Singh Deo, were both politicians. He attended the Doon School, Dehradun and graduated in Economics from St. Stephen's College, Delhi University. He represented India in shooting and basketball.
Prior to becoming an MP. Deo was the youngest member of the Orissa Legislative Assembly, to which he was returned in 2004 as a representative of the Saintala constituency.
In the General election of year 2009 KN Singh Deo has become a member of the 15th Lok Sabha, representing Bolangir constituency in Odisha. He was a member of the Public Accounts Committee and Energy Committee. He is currently the BJD Bolangir District President.
