Who was Kate Dobbin?
Kate Dobbin practised as an artist for over half a century, specialising in watercolours of Irish country scenes and still lifes of flowers. Between 1894 and 1947 she exhibited over one hundred watercolours at the Royal Hibernian Academy, Dublin. Kate Dobbin and her husband Sir Alfred Dobbin are both represented in the collection of the Crawford Art Gallery, Cork, Ireland.
