Who is Kianoosh Naghshineh?
Kianoosh Naghshineh brings more than 20 years of
engineering and management experience in systems and networking to his
role as CEO and president of Chelsio Communications. Before founding
Chelsio, Kianoosh was CEO and president of ASIC Designers, Inc., an
intellectual property firm providing silicon cores for
communications-systems markets. Prior to that, Kianoosh was one of the
primary architects of the Origin supercomputer at Silicon Graphics.
Prior to SGI, Kianoosh held a variety of product engineering and analog
and digital circuit design positions in fiber distributed data
interface (FDDI) networking design (bipolar/cmos) at Advanced Micro
Devices (AMD).
Kianoosh holds a B.S.E.E. from
Cornell University and an M.S.E.E. from Stanford University. He
currently holds 10 patents in analog and digital circuit design,
computer architecture, networking and host interfaces.
