Who is Kurt Tibbetts?
Darwin Kurt Tibbetts, OBE is a Caymanian politician and the former Leader of Government Business in the Cayman Islands. Tibbetts served as Leader of the People's Progressive Movement party from June 2003 to February 2011. Tibbetts currently serves as the first elected member for the district of George Town, serving his sixth term in the Legislative Assembly of the Cayman Islands. He has represented the district of George Town continuously since 1992. Tibbetts is currently minister responsible for planning, lands, agriculture, housing and infrastructure in the current People’s Progressive Movement Administration.
