Larry Mehanna is a French, Canadian, Lebanese Goalkeeper who is currently a player for Al-Ansar.

Larry Mehanna is a Franco-Canadian-Lebanese footballer who currently plays for Al-Ansar and is representing the National Team of Lebanon as Goalkeeper.

Larry holds 3 citizenships: Canadian, French and Lebanese.

Born and raised in France, he grew up playing football from the age of 5, where he was trained in the professional football camp of the French Capital, Paris Saint Germain until he was 17. During his football career, Larry also managed an apprentice education in business where he received a BEP diploma.

Larry decided to leave France for Lebanon as he was spotted by an agent during a tournament in France and was offered to play in the best Lebanese team which allowed him later on to be the National Goalkeeper. During this period, with his team, he managed to wind the Lebanese Premier League and Lebanese FA Cup two times.

Larry has been described by football coaches and agents as having a good control on his area and giving confidence to his defenders creating a close relationship with his teammates on the pitch. He leads by example during the training sessions and always manages to be in the right place, during the matches, ready in front of the offence and driving for his defenders and they learn to rely on him.
