Who is Lauren Ezersky?

Lauren Ezersky is an American broadcaster who is best known as hostess of her long running cable TV show "Behind The Velvet Ropes". She is considered a key figure in the New York fashion arena. Her fun and irreverent style of interviewing has made her an inside player in the fashion community.

Ezersky was born and raised in Yonkers, New York. She began her career pursuing her garment center dreams, working as a sales woman, a buyer, and even as a personal shopper. Lauren has also appeared on Good Morning America, Inside Edition, Fashion File, American Journal and Oprah Winfrey.

She is currently a fashion contributor on the nationally syndicated TV show Better

Lauren has also been on Manhattan File's Best Dressed list.
