Who is Leif Hansen?

Leif Christopher Hansen is the founder and owner of a chain of auto body shops, Leif's Auto Collision Centers.

Hansen was born in Bellingham, Washington and raised in Oahu, Hawaii. Building on a lifelong interest in cars and the auto repair industry, Hansen moved to Portland with his family in 1990 and bought his first auto body shop in 1991, at first running it as a one-man shop. In the years since opening, Leif's has become the largest body shop concern in Oregon. Leif's currently operates 7 locations in Oregon and SW Washington, and offers financing and a customer loyalty program. Additionally, Hansen has expanded the company's offerings to include auto detailing, tires, and mechanical maintenance and repair. His company recently opened Leif's Garage, specializing in Custom Vehicles and accessories. Hansen himself directs restoration and customization projects for clients and for his own projects.

Hansen is known for his self-narrated advertisements and YouTube videos, where he promises first-rate service, unencumbered by price fixing agreements with the insurance industry.
