Who is Leo Dijkgraaf?

Leo Dijkgraaf is a Dutch TV producer and former actor and puppeteer.

In 1975 he studied at the Utrecht School of the Arts. After a few years working as a teacher, he chose to work in the theatre. As an actor, in 1982 he won the Hans Snoeckprijs for best Dutch actor in youth theatre.

From 1984 to 1991 he played Pino in Sesamstraat, the Dutch version of the series Sesame Street. In April 2008 he played Pino one more time on the NCRV programme "Knowing Me, Knowing You".

From 1988 to 2000 he worked for TV, 9 years of which were for "Joop van den Ende TV producties". For them he worked as executive producer and manager of programme development. He produced and considered programme ideas for Henny Huisman, André van Duin, Ron Brandsteder and Carlo Boszhard.

Since 2000 he has been a director with Dijkproducties B.V.
