Who is Leonard Lenihan?

Leonard Lenihan was the Chairman of the Erie County Democratic Committee in Erie County, New York. He is a former Chairman of the Erie County Legislature and a former county personnel commissioner. He was a Presidential Elector for Sen. John Kerry and Sen. John Edwards in 2004. His wife, Kathleen Lenihan, is the Community Liaison for Congresswoman Louise M. Slaughter of the 28th Congressional District.

Mr. Lenihan has a Masters of Public Administration from the State University of New York at Albany and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Northwest Missouri State University.

Mr. Lenihan was elected chair of the Erie County Democratic Committee in 2002.
