Who is Leonardo Tavares?
Leonardo Tavares is a Portuguese professional tennis player. He competes on the ATP Tour. In August 2010, he achieved a career-high singles world ranking of no. 186.
Tavares has mainly played in the futures circuit. However, a breakthrough year in 2009 led him to his first Challenger final in August. Since then he has been a mainstay at that level, capturing several doubles titles and breaking into the top 100 doubles ranking, with a career high no. 95 ranking, achieved in September 2010. He also regularly plays in the Davis Cup.
