Who is Leslie Pearl?
Leslie Pearl is an American pop songwriter born in Pennsylvania. She wrote hits for Crystal Gayle, Karen Carpenter, Kenny Rogers, and Dr. Hook, among others. She recorded one album, scoring a chart hit with the RCA Records single, "If the Love Fits Wear It". The song peaked at number 28 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 7 on the Adult Contemporary chart in 1982. She also wrote jingles for Pepsi, Folgers Coffee, Ford, Gillette and others.
